2024 Juneteenth Event Reimbursement Grant

The Juneteenth Event Reimbursement Grant is designed to support Juneteenth celebrations and commemorations throughout the State of Minnesota. Eligible events occurring between June 1st and June 30th, 2024, that honor Juneteenth’s historical significance and contribute positively to their communities are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Events must have a historical connection to Juneteenth and aim for the betterment of the community.
- Must be hosted at the same location for 2 or more years.
Reimbursable Expenses: Applicants can seek reimbursement for the following categories within the specified timeline:
- Venue & Facility Rental
- Event Operations
- Marketing & Communications
- Administrative Costs
- Contractual Costs (including Entertainment)
Grant Type: This reimbursement grant covers expenses post-event. Grantees are required to follow a specified procedure for expense verification. Reimbursements will be issued according to a set payment schedule upon submission of all necessary documentation, including invoices and proof of payment.
Application Deadline: All documentation, including invoices and proofs of payment, must be submitted by June 25th, 2024.
